Get to Know the Competitors of ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ Season 1

The Spanish-style house that has served as the home base of The Bachelor franchise for most of its 23-year history is about to undergo a major facelift. And who better to take on the challenge than some of the show’s former cast members? In HGTV’s new competition series Bachelor Mansion Takeover, 12 fan-favorite contestants put their makeover skills to the test as they transform the iconic Bachelor mansion in Agoura Hills, California. Each week, the contestants face elimination challenges. At the end of the renovation, one overall winner will walk away with a $100,000 prize. The series will be hosted by Jesse Palmer and judged by former Bachelor contestants Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron, along with a rotating guest judge featured in each episode. Now, let's meet the cast taking on television’s most romantic address.

A multifaceted entrepreneur, Tammy has worked as a real estate investor, a house flipper, an insurance agent and a model. Hailing from Syracuse, New York, she was a contestant on The Bachelor Season 24 and later returned for Bachelor in Paradise Season 7. As a licensed real estate agent, Tammy's experience includes house flipping and property investment — so she's got practical hands-on knowledge of home renovation and design. She's known for championing women in male-dominated industries, particularly real estate and construction, and has openly discussed her experiences as a woman of color in these fields. On Bachelor Mansion Takeover, Tammy will channel her house-flipping know-how and real estate expertise to tackle each renovation with confidence. She recently wrote on Instagram, “Because juggling a new business + 4 full-time jobs wasn’t enough — let’s renovate the Bachelor Mansion with our bare hands.”

A contractor from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Sam was a contestant on The Bachelorette Season 21, where he received the coveted first impression rose from Jenn Tran. Known for his Southern charm, Sam was sent home in Week 6. (He later returned for Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 but was eliminated in Week 1.) Sam now works as a project manager for a construction company that specializes in custom home building and renovations. So, he has ample experience overseeing teams and ensuring quality craftsmanship. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, riding motorcycles and spending time with his dog, often sharing updates on social media. Sam's construction expertise and leadership skills will be key to executing the mansion’s renovation tasks.

A registered travel nurse from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Noah first appeared on The Bachelorette Season 16 and later joined Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, where he formed a notable connection with Abigail Heringer, the first deaf contestant in the franchise’s history. (Abigail is an advocate for the Deaf community and hosts a social media series called "Hear Me Out,” where she shares her experiences with hearing loss.) The couple married on October 7, 2024, at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa. They currently live in Tulsa and are renovating their home — doing all the demo themselves and showcasing before-and-after moments of their projects. With plenty of hands-on renovation experience, Noah brings a practical perspective to the mansion's makeover.

A proud mom of two daughters and a retired executive assistant from Doraville, Georgia, Sandra was a contestant on the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelor, where she was eliminated in Week 5. Known for her vibrant personality and active lifestyle, which includes racquetball, crafting and thrift shopping, Sandra's creativity and zest for life shine on her Instagram, where she shares humorous posts and highlights of her favorite hobbies. Her flair for DIY projects will inspire innovative and fun design solutions during the mansion makeover.

A school administrator from Rockville, Maryland, Joan was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor Season 1, where she voluntarily withdrew in Week 3 to support her daughter during a postpartum health issue. She later made history in 2024 as the first-ever lead of The Golden Bachelorette, where she became engaged to Chock Chapple during the finale. In addition to being a school administrator, Joan founded Metropolitan Interiors, where she works as an interior designer and a special projects consultant, focusing on creating functional, stylish and personalized spaces for her clients. Joan’s experience in interior design will allow her to contribute stylish solutions to the mansion’s makeover.

An architectural historian from Newport, Rhode Island, Jill first gained attention as a contestant on Season 26 of The Bachelor. Her journey continued on Bachelor in Paradise Seasons 8 and 9, where she made several notable appearances. Beyond her television presence, Jill is passionate about her Asian-American heritage and actively celebrates AAPI Heritage Month, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging the complex history and accomplishments of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in the US. Drawing on her expertise in architectural history and preservation planning, Jill aims to bring creative, informed solutions to the design challenges of the 52-year-old mansion.

A civil engineering graduate from Fairfield, Connecticut, Jeremy works as a real estate investor, combining his academic background with hands-on experience in property development and construction. He was a contestant on The Bachelorette Season 21, where he made a memorable entrance in a red Corvette, and later participated in Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. He is in a committed relationship with Bailey Brown, a fellow Season 10 contestant who holds an interior design degree. Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys travel, food and spending time with his dogs. His background in civil engineering and real estate development will come in handy during the mansion's renovation challenges.

An Arizona native, Courtney received the final rose on The Bachelor Season 16, where she became engaged to Ben Flajnik. The couple ended their relationship shortly after the show aired. She later authored the New York Times best-selling memoir I Didn't Come Here to Make Friends, which offered an inside look into her experiences on The Bachelor. In 2020, Courtney married attorney Humberto Preciado, and the couple shares three children: Joaquin (5), Paloma (3) and Gabriel (1). She is also the host of the podcast After Reality With Courtney Robertson, where she discusses life, love and reality television. Courtney’s strong point of view will no doubt add personality and creative spirit to every renovation project.

An interior designer and a former beauty queen who resides in West Hollywood, California, Allyshia was born in London and raised in San Antonio, Florida, after immigrating to the US at a young age with her single mother. She made history as the longest-reigning Miss California USA, dedicating her platform to female empowerment and entrepreneurship. She was a contestant on The Bachelor Season 29, where she was eliminated in Week 2, and later returned for Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. Allyshia is the owner of Lee Taylor Design Studio LLC and will bring her keen eye for aesthetics and interior design experience to create stylish, functional spaces for the mansion. She recently posted on Instagram: “BEYOND honored to be redesigning the iconic Bachelor Mansion with @HGTV. Bringing new life to a place that’s been part of pop culture history is truly surreal.”

Christopher is a devoted father and grandfather from West Babylon, New York, who enjoys fitness and cooking healthy meals. He appeared as a contestant on The Golden Bachelorette Season 1, where he was eliminated in Week 2. As the co-owner and co-chief executive of Contracting Specialists LLC, he brings more than 25 years of experience in construction, specializing in restorations, single-family homes and condominiums. His decades of construction experience will make him a valuable problem-solver during the mansion’s renovation projects.

A content creator and travel blogger enthusiast, Dean (formerly known as Dean Unglert) recently changed his last name to Bell in honor of his late mother, Debbie Bell, who passed away from breast cancer when he was 15 years old. A prominent figure in Bachelor Nation, Dean is recognized for his appearances on The Bachelorette Season 13, Bachelor in Paradise Seasons 4 and 6, and The Bachelor Winter Games. In 2023, he married Caelynn Miller-Keyes, a fellow Bachelor in Paradise alum. The couple settled in Colorado, where they are embracing the state’s outdoor lifestyle.
