Charleston to Edisto Island, SC

Michele and Billy have decided to leave behind the hustle and bustle of Charleston, South Carolina, for the quiet beaches of nearby Edisto Island. Edisto is the perfect location, as it is in between both of their beverage distribution territories. They are both looking for a gem of a home with gorgeous views where they can lead a simpler lifestyle and find more time to golf.

Atlanta to Daufuskie Island, SC

Melissa and Opie are ready to ditch the Atlanta city life for a quiet place to raise their two young kids. They fell in love with Daufuskie Island, South Carolina, during a road trip and knew it was the perfect place to put down their family's roots. Melissa and Opie are ready to start the next chapter in their lives, where they live alongside nature and enjoy all the outdoor activities Daufuskie Island has to offer.

Michigan to Hilton Head Island, SC

Michelle and Steve are done with shoveling snow in Michigan, so they're trading their snow boots for sandals and moving to Hilton Head, South Carolina. Looking to spend more quality time with their daughters, they have decided to make their vacation spot their permanent home. While the kids love the outdoor life and water sports on the island, Michelle and Steve are using their large wish list to find the right house that makes the island feel like home.

From Austin to Port Aransas, Texas

Newlyweds Laurie and Chad and their dog Duck are ready to leave the big city of Austin behind and start the next chapter of their lives in Port Aransas, Texas. Chad cherishes the trips he used to make to Port Aransas every summer with his family, and he even proposed to Laurie on the beach there. They're ready to make this special place their permanent home and hope to find the perfect condo with a boat dock and enough bedrooms for visiting friends and family.

North Texas to South Padre Island

Kari and Ryan have decided to get away from inland Texas, where they live with their three children, and head south where they can focus on an outdoor lifestyle and family time. South Padre Island is less than an hour commute to Houston for pilot Ryan, and it has everything an active family could hope for -- most importantly, beaches! Ryan and Kari want their growing kids to get away from the tablets and technology and start enjoying fun in the sun, and they hope to find the right condo where they can build the perfect sandcastle any time they want.

From San Diego to Coronado

Heather, Drew and their two young sons live in San Diego but dream of moving across the bay to Coronado Island. When Heather was growing up nearby, she fantasized about one day living in one of Coronado's majestic homes, and the family now has the means to make that dream a reality. Heather and Drew are excited to find the quintessential Coronado house where they have enough room to entertain and their sons can be close to school and activities.

Colorado Cold to Coronado Sun

Brian and Christina and their two teenage kids are a military family that has been stationed in over a dozen places around the world. When Brian got stationed at the historic Naval Base Coronado, the family decided that putting down roots in this exquisite southern California peninsula would be a worthwhile investment. They're trading the cold winters of Colorado for the endless beaches and consistent weather of southern California - not to mention breathtaking views of both San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Now they just need to find the perfect property to call their forever island home.

Baby on Board on Duck Island

Ryan and Julia have just found out they are expecting their first child, and they're eager to move from Raleigh, North Carolina, to the quaint town of Duck on the Outer Banks. The couple loves the family-friendly atmosphere of Duck as well as the many water activities associated with living on an island. Ryan and Julia hope to find a large home with a pool that's close to the beach and town so they can enjoy all their favorite activities with their new baby.

From SoCal to Kill Devil Hills

California natives Todd and Deanna live in California with their three teenagers. When Todd was stationed with the military reserves in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the family took weekend trips to the Outer Banks and fell in love with the island lifestyle. Now they want to find a permanent home with a waterfront view in their favorite vacation spot, Kill Devil Hills.

First Home on Hilton Head

Michigan native Holly is a 27-year-old hospitality manager who wants to trade the rough winters for endless summers. After falling in love with the Southern charm of Hilton Head, South Carolina, she realized she could afford to buy a place of her own on the low-country island. With the help of her mom, Debbie, Holly hopes to find a home with enough room for guests.

Family Time on St. Simons

Joy and Brett have a busy life in Atlanta, running their own business and running around with their five active, young kids. They're looking for a slower pace of life so they can enjoy their family, and they've both always considered St. Simons Island a little paradise off Georgia's Golden Coast. Now Joy and Brett are looking for the right island home to fit their large family.

Setting Sail to Ono Island

Mark and Charlotte live in Dallas, Texas, and when they're not working, they enjoy spending time sailing in open waters. But with the nearest harbor more than two hours away, living in a city like Dallas doesn't give the couple the opportunity to enjoy their boat the way they would like. Mark and Charlotte stumbled upon Ono Island, Alabama, while visiting family on the Gulf Shores, and they fell in love with how undeveloped and private the island was. They're finally ready to make their favorite vacation destination their permanent home.

Season 5, Episode 14

Planting Roots on Ono Island

Lance and Elizabeth are a young couple ready to grow their family and put down roots on the Alabama coast. At their current home in Orange Beach, they deal with too many beach-goers flocking to the vacation destination, so they've set their sights just five minutes over the bridge in the private community of Ono Island. Ono's small town vibes and quaint beach community fit Lance and Elizabeth's vision of Southern family living, so they're hoping to find a dream home where they can build their future.
