Meet the Teams

Six fun teams of expert house flippers/renovators compete at auction to buy three homes, three houses they've never even been inside. After the auction the three winning teams go to see what they just bought. The houses always need work, but how much? The three teams do amazing renovations then put the homes on the market hoping to make a profit. The question is, who will come out ahead? It's a high stakes hour in which three auctions are won, three houses beautifully renovated and then all three houses sold. Who will make the most money?

Season 1, Episode 2

Planes, Trains and Auctions

The teams are up bright and early searching for a hot deal on a house at auction today. Three new houses are on the auction block; a four- bedroom house in Los Gatos, and a two-bedroom and four-bedroom house in San Jose. All the teams are scrambling to quickly assess the homes' exteriors to see which ones look promising for a fruitful flip. Todd and Michael take pride in flipping high end homes in Los Gatos, so they feel a bit territorial anytime a house there is up for bid. Meanwhile, an expensive trailer parked at the four-bedroom San Jose property has both Mike and Manly, and Dom and Krista seeing dollar signs. Season 1, Episode 3

Accent-uate the Positive

It's the morning of the auction and the teams are scouting three homes up for bid: a four-bedroom in Newark with a minimum bid of $150K, a three-bedroom in Concord starting at $160K, and a four-bedroom mid-century modern home in Saratoga with a minimum price of $400K. Rick and Vinny go head to head with Dom and Krista for the Newark property. Even though it's near the train tracks, the house has its charms and is on a coveted corner lot. Both teams think this is a quick flip with a lot of potential- but neither know it has a few surprises as well! It's Greg and Beau versus Josh and Alisha for the Concord property. Alisha and Josh love the location, while their opponent Greg attended a party at this house in high school, and is certain the inside is stunning. How much is Beau willing to bid to find out if Greg's memory is correct? Meanwhile, Mike and Manly along with Todd and Michael bid on the mid-century modern property in Saratoga. Todd and Michael specialize in these high-end homes, but Mike and Manly are determined to get their hands on this house because they've always loved this style of architecture. Let the battle begin!

Finding a Country Oasis

t's a busy morning in the Bay Area with three new homes up for auction. The teams will be bidding on a charming two bedroom house in Redwood City, an updated property near good schools in San Jose, and a rare country home in Sunnyvale. Dom is willing to bid half a million dollars for the Redwood City home because he's certain its upscale Silicon Valley location guarantees him a huge profit. Rick and Vinny also have big plans for this home and won't go down without a fight. Then it's Mike and Manly versus Todd and Michael for the San Jose home. Both teams believe they're just a few cosmetic changes away from reselling this house for top dollar. And a discovery in the garage only fuels Todd's fire. Meanwhile, the Sunnyvale home incites a bidding war between Beau and Josh, who are intrigued by its country setting, which comes with a few surprises of its own. Turning Mold to Gold

The teams are up bright and early hoping to snag a hot property at the auction. The stakes are high, with only two hours to scout the outside of the homes before risking millions against other bidders. They'll be battling for a mid-century modern home in Silicon Valley, and a three bedroom home and a fixer upper ranch, both in San Jose. Mike and Manly love the style and location of the Silicon Valley home, and think this could be a quick flip before jetting off to Paris for Manly's wedding. But that's only if Rick and Vinny don't snatch the home from them first. Meanwhile, the three-bedroom San Jose home is in Josh's favorite neighborhood, which means a war on the auction steps when Todd and Michael try to walk away with it instead. And thanks to the low starting bid for the fixer-upper ranch, both Dom and Krista and their rivals Greg and Beau will be battling it out to score the best deal. Once the auction's over the real work begins as the winning teams uncover the true state of their properties, and then do the necessary work to flip the homes for what each team hopes will be a killer profit. Little do they know, they'll face surprises at every turn.

Going Dutch

It's early morning and the teams rush to scout each property before auction begins. First up is a 4-bedroom Santa Clara home that Krista instantly falls in love with because of its quaint, Dutch architectural details, which is exactly what Dom dislikes about it. Todd is also drawn to it because he went to school in Amsterdam and has an affinity for this style of architecture, but Michael's not as enthusiastic. Meanwhile, Greg and Beau are hesitant as they scout a 2-bedroom home in a neighborhood where they had a horrible experience flipping a house in the past. They're hopeful that getting this place could help erase those bad memories, but not if Rick and Vinny manage to get their hands on it first. In Milpitas, a 3-bedroom house is up for sale that has Josh and Alisha excited, but there's something in the air that's giving her some doubt. And Mike and Manly get some intel of their own that helps them make a quick decision. It's a heated battle on the auction steps and the teams risk hundreds of thousands at every turn. Todd and Michael are also eager to get their hands on the place because they love its downtown location. Also in San Jose, Alisha wants to bid on a 3-bedroom home that has tons of charm, but Josh fears is too much work. Todd and Michael want this place too and think getting two homes at the auction is a great way to double their profits. Little do they know, the home's new addition will make them want to run the other way. The teams hustle to scout the properties up for auction, with hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line. In the sought-after city of Los Altos, a 2 bedroom home has the attention of Beau and Greg, and Dom and Krista. Both teams think this small house will sell for big money. In Sunnyvale, the market is hot and a 5 bedroom home is so rare that Josh is convinced this will be a huge score, but Alisha thinks the size of the home may be a hoax. Little do they know, Todd has his own plans to take this at the auction. In Santa Clara, Alisha immediately falls for a Mediterranean style home and will do anything in her power to take it from Rick and Vinny. The teams are fired up to out bid each other for big profits. But will they walk into a brand new remodel or a total disaster? Let the bidding begin!

Flippin' the Bird

It's 8am, and the teams rush to scout the homes up for auction today. In the upscale town of Saratoga, a 2-bedroom condo is up for sale that has both Todd and Michael, and Rick and Vinny eager to investigate and secure a quick flip. In San Jose, a 4-bedroom home grabs Alisha's attention, but Mike and Manly uncover clues that convince them to bid big. In Sunnyvale, a charming 4-bedroom home has Krista enthralled, but Dom thinks she's overlooking the costly flaws. And after having good luck flipping in this area before, Mike and Manly plant to make this their second score. Each team is confident their knowledge and bidding skills will win the house, but they won't really know what they're buying till the step inside. May the best team win!

Unfinished Super Sized home, Flipped for a King

The auction is in 2 hours and the teams rush to scout the homes on the auction block. In San Jose, a 4-bedroom unfinished home has Alisha excited that its size and location could equal a big return, but a discovery at the property leads to big concerns for Josh. Vinny and Rick also have eyes on this place and are willing to go to great lengths to see inside. Also in San Jose, Dom and Krista love the character and details of a spanish style 4-bedroom. Todd and Michael also plan to bid on it, though Michael's worried it may be a hoarder house, with tons of needed clean up. Over in Los Gatos, Mike and Manly are considering a 3-bedroom townhouse, but when Rick and Vinny tour the backyard, they have a shocking encounter that has them running for cover. The teams scramble to scout three homes up for auction. In Santa Clara, Todd and Michael set their sights on a 5 bedroom historic Victorian. Todd, nostalgic for his grandmother's home, is passionate about restoring it, but Michael 's worried that would bust their budget. Rick and Vinny also want to snag this house because they love its original details and huge lot size. Over in San Jose, Josh is sentimental for a 2 bedroom because he flipped his first house on this same street, but Alisha is wary because of its small size and condition. Mike and Manly also want to bid on this property because they think it's a quick flip in a great neighborhood. Nearby in Sunnyvale, Krista and Dom are excited about a 2 bedroom condo because Dom has inside information on it from a friend who lives in the complex. '70s Design Nightmare

The teams hurry to scout three houses up for auction in two hours in the San Francisco Bay Area. In Campbell, Mike and Manly are stoked about a 5 bedroom, despite the home's beat up appearance and the headaches associated with pools. Vinny and Rick are also fired up for this house because they're eager to invest in a bigger property for larger profits. Down in Los Gatos, Josh and Alisha scout a 2 bedroom home, and after checking out a tool shed packed with tools, they have high hopes for a nice interior. But the Los Gatos natives Todd and Michael have had their eye on this house for years and they know they can flip it for a hefty profit. Over in San Jose, a 4 bedroom house has Dom and Krista's attention, they glean from its well manicured lawn and clean facade that it's probably just as well maintained on the inside. Mike and Manly are also impressed at its exterior and think they can make big money with very little effort. But the real truth about the state of the homes won't be revealed until they step inside. Welcome to the Jungle

It's auction day and the teams hustle to scout three houses on the auction block. In desirable downtown Los Gatos, a Victorian 2 bedroom has sparked Todd and Michael's attention thanks to its location and well kept exterior. Rick and Vinny are also intrigued by this property's potential, and think the home seems perfect from the outside. Just north in Santa Clara, Mike and Manly scope out a 3 bedroom house that has them intrigued, but the overgrown landscaping has them worried the inside could be rough. Todd and Michael, lured by the low starting bid, also scout the property hoping it could lead to a big profit. Over in San Jose, Josh and Alisha inspect a 3 bedroom house that has a new air conditioner and windows, but the backyard has them nervous about expensive clean up costs. Mike and Manly also check out the house and worry the ugly landscaping and old cars in the backyard means the inside is a gamble.
