Sara and Josh Howell are a young couple with a little daughter and one on the way. Their master suite has become the epicenter of the home and they need more space to congregate. Designer/contractor Chip Wade creates an open floor plan by utilizing the unused rooms nearby. He remodels the master bathroom to include a custom tub with a molded seat made from a light weight concrete product. He opens access to the nursery by installing a swinging partition wall, allowing them to keep an eye on the baby with the option to close the door for privacy. Then to create a living room space, Chip installs a retractable bed that pushes into the wall to become a couch. This one of a kind bedroom is now works as a family space as well as master suite.
