Multi-million-dollar private jets, luxurious spa treatments and exorbitant shopping sprees? How far would you go for your pet? Posh Pets: Lifestyles of the Rich and Furry celebrates the outrageous ways some people pamper their furry family members. Host Beth Stern introduces viewers to the lovable pets of her fellow HGTV stars along with America's most pampered pets. Whether it's inside the gates of a sprawling southern California resort designed only for dogs, 35,000 feet high aboard one pet's very own private plane, at a debutant ball for a rescued Chihuahua or into the suites of the swankiest pet-friendly hotels, Posh Pets proves that adoring owners will do anything to spoil their beloved animals. You're invited behind-the-scenes to a fancy glam-cat photo shoot, into a spa that specializes in doga (that's dog yoga) and gourmet restaurants with special canine-only menus. Guest-starring HGTV's Antonio Ballatore with his bulldog, Chewie, and Sabrina Soto with her labradoodle, Harper, this one-hour special also includes DIY Network's Anitra Mecadon showing viewers how to build their own luxury doghouse without breaking the bank. Posh Pets demonstrates that you don't need millions to show your dog or cat how much you love them.
In this
indoor/outdoor challenge, the finalists work with two neighboring homeowners to redesign a family room that connects to an adjacent outdoor space. The competitors team up to transform one of the four areas and work with the home's other team to create a design that flows seamlessly between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Sabrina Soto, host of HGTV's The High Low Project, along with Genevieve Gorder and Vern Yip, review the spaces and select a winner based on which team has the most beautiful space. For the on-camera hosting challenge, each finalist must demonstrate their ability to bring the outdoors in or the indoors out by giving a clever design tip under $100.
The eight remaining designers must work in pairs to make over adjacent indoor and outdoor spaces for real homeowners in two neighboring houses. Each designer must also show his/her TV skills in the Camera Challenge, giving the viewers an accessible design tip on how to bring the outdoors in, or the indoors out. With just three days to complete their transformations, and the added pressure of pleasing real clients, tensions run high among some of the designers. Joining Vern Yip and Genevieve Gorder on the Design Panel is Sabrina Soto, star of HGTV's The High/Low Project. At Evaluation, Sabrina announces the winner, and the Panel must choose one designer to be sent home. David Bromstad serves as host and mentor.
