When describing this space designer Laurie March says, “This was never going to be a white kitchen. I brought my garden into the space by foregoing upper cabinets and doing a whole wall of windows on the exterior that keeps us connected to the outside while we’re using the space."

"I wanted to explore what was visible and what could be hidden from the eye, so the interior wall became a workhorse wall. It holds the range, refrigeration, huge upper cabinets, and my pantry storage. Once I saw the Bertazzoni Heritage Series Range and Hood in Ivory I was smitten - I fell in love. It became the perfect centerpiece and created symmetry for the interior wall," explains March.

"I discovered that this range is actually inspired by one of their original ranges that they first created. It has a different kind of texture and energy and vibe in the space – it brings that sense of heritage and history."

"I knew the 48-inch range was going to be the center of my kitchen design, so having a size and color matched gorgeous statement hood gave the space something to anchor it with our high ceilings. It all looks brilliant against my un-oiled soapstone countertops and splash," March explains.
