Modern Indoor Pool With Palm Trees

Ryan Hughes Design masterfully merged outdoor elements with indoor ones so that, although the huge pool technically resides within the home's footprint, it also feels as though it could be outside with its palm trees and grass lawns.

The indoor pool was actually built before the home, its precise location informing the rest of the structure. So while it resides inside the framework of the vast house, Ryan Hughes Design also gave it fresh tropical nuances so that it feels cohesive with the outside areas.

Modern Pergola With Rain Wall

Modern Dark Blue Pool and Sunken Sitting Area

Also included within the pool are acrylic viewing windows by Aquatic Glazing. Through them, the water's blue glow illuminates the sunken seating area with a fire pit, as well as other dining and lounging areas. Each space was precisely positioned opposite the large windows of the main home.

Modern Indoor Pool With Grass Lawns

Based on the size of the swimming pool (nearly 2,000 square feet!) and its proximity to the home's foundation, the pool had to be crafted before the house could be constructed. As the surrounding home was built, everything had to be aligned within fractions of an inch.
