Blue Bungalow With Yellow Front Door

In addition to an all-new feel to the rooms inside this 1925 bungalow, the designers revamped the outside as well, giving the home a cute Craftsman-style front porch, new walkway and steps and lovely landscaping.

Blue Bungalow Exterior and Yellow Front Door

To revitalize the bungalow's exterior, designers swapped out the existing porch for square porch columns with sloped sides as well as Craftsman-style railings and clapboard siding. A yellow front door winks out a cheery welcome.

Transitional Living Room and Yellow Front Door

The lemon yellow front door opens directly into one of the main floor's several living areas. The designers cleverly organized separate sitting arrangements on either side of the door, allowing for an unobstructed walkway into the home.

On the home's main level, designers mapped out two separate sitting areas, a sunny reading nook, an open plan kitchen and a family room with outdoor access. Heart pine flooring pays homage to wood that was often used in the 1920s when the house was built.
