The clients are passionate about color and pattern and wanted to push the envelope with both in creating their dream home. The couple has two children and two dogs who keep them on their toes and really needed to have spaces that could withstand “tough love” from children and pets. In addition, another goal was to create plenty of destinations for various tasks so that they would truly use the entire house. The house includes his and hers offices, several bedrooms and baths, a craft room, bunk room, home gym, children’s gym, library, family room, morning room, mudroom and package room. Marika and her team worked with Mid-Atlantic Builders to create the custom home which is imbued with color and pattern!
