Alyssa Kapito and Vivian Muller formed Kapito Muller Interiors in the fall of 2012 with the intention of melding their individual talents into a creative partnership that would focus on designing stylish and livable spaces while always incorporating the unique tastes and sensibilities of their clients. Working together with architects, contractors, and craftsmen both partners are deeply involved in every step of the design process.

Alyssa Kapito graduated from Columbia University with a Masters in Renaissance Art before discovering her passion for interior design. She began her career as a designer for the commercial architectural firm Perkins Eastman, where she gained invaluable experience designing the interiors for boutique hotels, stylish stores, and up-and-coming restaurants. Her ability to balance large-scale projects while maintaining her sense of refined detail distinguishes her as a great designer.

Vivian Muller graduated from the New York School of Interior Design. She refined both her skills and her taste while working as a Junior Designer at the prestigious design firm Sandra Nunnerley Inc., where she worked on the design of residential homes in Manhattan, the Hamptons, Colorado and Houston. Vivian’s elegant work conveys her extensive knowledge and passion for architecture and antiques as well as an eye for contemporary art and design.
