"The essence of interior design will always be about people and how they live. It's about the realities of what makes a creative, attractive, meaningful environment, not about what's in or what's out. It's not an easy job."—Albert Hadley
(San Rafael, CA) Designer Jo Ann Hartley creates classically modern interiors, incorporating beautiful palettes, striking silhouettes and subtle textures. Every one of her firm's projects takes its cue from the client. "We really strive to create functional and livable spaces that capture the unique qualities of our clients," says Hartley.
With over 15 years of experience, Hartley is also a master of project management, enabling her to deliver projects completed on time and on budget.
With a full slate of projects on the boards throughout the Bay Area, Hartley has opened a new design studio in San Rafael, CA. Her Moire Powder Room and Alcove will be featured in the 2011 San Francisco Decorator Showcase from April 30 though May 30.
But Hartley's main focus remains on her clients and creating exceptional spaces for their homes and businesses.
"Their expertise is evident at the outset. It is their ability to meld that expertise with our personalities that left us with a home that is so "Us," yet new and so comfortable that we feel we've always been here."—Novato client
