Armando Flores, President & CEO

Armando Flores is the owner of Charco Design & Build, an award-winning firm he founded after 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry. A San Diego native, following his studies in architectural drafting and interior design, Flores got his start at a top-notch design firm in Los Angeles. After making his way back home to San Diego, Armando worked at Charco Construction, an esteemed and reputable remodeling company his father-in-law established back in 1966. He worked there for 15 years as Vice President and COO, before he branched out and started his own company. Armando’s work has been featured in numerous magazines, articles, publications, and television shows. One of his kitchens can be seen every week on the hit local cooking show, “Sam the Cooking Guy”. From 2009 to 2012 The San Diego Daily Transcript has nominated Armando as one of the top most influential. This year, in 2013, he took home the honor. With an enthusiasm for architecture, cars, and art, Armando draws much of his inspiration from his passion for vintage vehicles, historic structures, and his frequent travels around the world.
