This is one of the easiest ways to add a “fall” statement to your front door on a budget.

Materials Needed

  • roll of butcher paper
  • large black marker
  • faux fall leaves
  • double-sided tape
  • utility knife

Cut + Attach Butcher Paper

Open the door, place the butcher paper over the top and tape a 1” lip to the inside. Close the door and allow the roll to continue to the bottom. Use a utility knife to cut the paper around the door hardware. Open the door again, cut the butcher paper to wrap around the bottom of the door and then tape about a 1” seam to the inside.

Tip: Be sure to test the marker you choose on a sample of the butcher paper that is not pressed against your door to ensure the ink doesn't bleed through, then write your favorite fall phrase across the paper.
