Mums the Word

For this glamorous Hollywood wedding, hydrangea is the word, too. Lee's packed roster includes fresh flowers at Mariah Carey's home, events for Goldie Hawn, Tom Cruise and Anthony Hopkins as well as lucky Angelinos. Lee says that Cruise prefers clean, white flowers like these hydrangeas.

Sock it to Me

For Goldie Hawn's charity event, Love In For Kids, Lee used brightly colored gerbera daisies and white hydrangeas for the centerpieces. The event, which had a '70s theme, was attended by Hawn, daughter Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy, husband Kurt Russell, Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow, Melanie Griffith and Zack Braff and raised money for the Hawn Foundation.

Gerberas for Goldie

Floral designer to the stars Kevin Lee says that Hawn wanted fun and funky arrangements for her Love In For Kids charity event. So, he used brightly colored gerbera daisies contrasted with white hydrangeas in white retro-inspired vases. Lee always keeps his client's personalities and style in mind.

Mellow Yellow

Celebrity floral designer Kevin Lee says that Sir Anthony Hopkins wanted yellow flowers for his wedding. Yellow flowers signify new beginnings, happiness and joy—all sentiments Hopkins wished to express.

Striking Gold

Yellow calla lilies and yellow tulips line the tables of this high-end Hollywood wedding. Floral designer Kevin Lee says that yellow flowers are a favorite of Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Golden Years

Los Angeles-based floral designer Kevin Lee goes above and beyond when it comes to the wishes and desires of all of his clients. He has dotted Mariah Carey's Hollywood home with dramatic arrangements featuring whatever flower is freshest that day. For this yellow themed wedding, Lee hung balls of yellow gerbera daisies from an arrangement of yellow panicle and orchids atop plexiglass columns for an over-the-top look that guests talked about for weeks.

The Giving Tree

Lee created a wishing tree for this Hollywood wedding where guests wrote well wishes to the couple and hung them from this tree's branches. Yellow signifies good luck, new beginnings and joy. Lee has also created magical events for Tom Cruise, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Oprah Winfrey and many others.

Daisy Buchanan

Celebrity floral designer Kevin Lee says that gerbera daisies are one of Goldie Hawn's favorite flowers and that the star prefers simpler, earthier arrangements such as these. That being said, she also wants them to be fun and reflect her whimsical personality.

Consider the Lilies

Lee also considers the roses, hydrangeas and freesia. When it comes to his clients, like Keanu Reeves, Wolfgang Puck, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Oprah Winfrey, he considers it all. "If they aren't happy, then I am not happy," says Lee. "So far everyone seems pretty pleased and that makes me happy."

Great Balls of Beauty

Gerbera daisies are a favorite flower of Goldie Hawn, said Lee. He used thousands of blooms for her recent charity event along with white hydrangeas. The party with its '70s disco theme was all about love and giving and was attended by many luminaries. Lee created these flower orbs and suspended them with twine for a surreal floating effect.

Walk the Line

When it comes to weddings, celebrity floral designer Kevin Lee pulls out all the stops. Flower girl baskets adorned with yellow gerbera daisies sit at the end of this aisle flanked by lucite columns. Lee used 50,000 blooms for the wedding of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston that featured roses and lotus flowers while Sir Anthony Hopkins preferred all yellow flowers.

Lovely Lily

Designer Lee says that Oprah Winfrey and Tom Cruise prefer arrangements consisting of white flowers, such as these calla lilies.

The Midas Touch

For many of Lee's client's, money is no object or they simply want awesome arrangements that guests will remember. Lee has what he calls "the designer's eye" and the ability to take his visions to the next level. This exclusive Hollywood wedding designed by Lee featured orchids, roses, calla lilies, gerbera daisies and panicle.

Yellow Gold

When Lee has a vision his clients typically let him run with it. "I create events that are absolutely unforgettable," says Lee. The family table at this Hollywood wedding featured yellow gerbera daisies under a glass top.

Fish on a Pedestal

At an event staged by Kevin Lee, even the fish is fancy. At this Hollywood wedding he placed white rosebuds inside inverted wine glasses while the base provided a pedestal for the sushi.

It's Always Sunny

Yellow orchids, roses and panicle sit atop a plexiglass cylinder filled with suspended gerbera daisy orbs. "I like creating arrangements that people are going to talk about after an event," says Lee. Lee used over 50,000 blooms for the wedding of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, something that people talk about to this day.

Rustic Meets Romantic

Lee says that Brad Pitt prefers more zen-like arrangements like lotus flowers on top of slate or something like this a Manzanita tree decorated with crystals. Jennifer Aniston prefers more traditional romantic arrangements such as roses and freesia, says Lee.

Words of Love

Kevin Lee created a wishing tree for this Hollywood wedding. Guests wrote personal notes expressing congratulations and love and hung them on a bare tree in the center of the room. By the evening's end, the tree's branches were blooming with sentiment.

Lucy in the Sky

Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck's multi-million dollar wedding included breathtaking arrangements similar to this Kevin Lee creation featuring yellow orchids, gerbera daisies, tulips and yellow roses. Placed atop plexiglass columns, the arrangement appears to be floating.

Love and Happiness

Lee used a single yellow calla lily for the groomsmen's boutonnières for this exclusive, high-end Hollywood wedding. Yellow flowers signify new beginnings, joy and good luck.

Everyone's a Winner

For this Tinseltown wedding Lee created bouquets that would make each bridesmaid feel unique. Some carried calla lilies and others yellow gerbera daisies.

Golden Ticket

Instead of having bridesmaids carry the same exact bouquet, Lee created a unique look for every girl.

Bridal Bouquets

It is with great fondness that Kevin Lee recalls the bridal bouquet of Dutch Vendela roses he created for Jennifer Aniston when she wed Brad Pitt. Lee used 50,000 blooms for the occasion but predicts that Aniston will opt for something simpler, like this bouquet of gypsophila or baby's breath when she weds beau Justin Theroux.

The Wedding Planner

Kevin Lee was the inspiration for Martin Short's portrayal of a wedding planner in Father of the Bride. What you might not know is that Sir Anthony Hopkins loves white and yellow flowers. "He wanted them all over his house, especially daffodils, for his special event," says Lee. "They were everywhere and it was breathtaking."

Bright Eyes

Yellow Gerbera daisies and hydrangeas are a favorite of Lee's clients Goldie Hawn and Anthony Hopkins. Lee was the mastermind behind Hawn's birthday and charity event as well as Hopkins' wedding.

Voices Carey

Kevin Lee's clients are some of the most talked about stars in the business, like Mariah Carey. Lee says that Carey likes to have fresh arrangements surprise her around every corner of her Hollywood home. "She loves pastels, pinks and purples," says Lee. "So, whenever she was in town, I would place them everywhere." This centerpiece features numerous orchids and roses, some of the crooner's favorite flowers.

A Friend's Bouquet

When Jennifer Aniston married Brad Pitt she carried a large bouquet of Dutch Vendela roses created by Lee. "I think she'll go a little simpler for her marriage to Justin Theroux," predicts Lee. He added that the mega-star could not be more friendly and down-to-earth.

Murphy's Law

Actor/comedian Eddie Murphy is a longtime client of Lee's. "He likes to come into the shop and choose the flowers himself," says Lee. "He even hand writes the card, something most A-listers rarely do." The arrangement of orange circus roses, white hydrangea clusters, yellow cymbidium orchids and golden tulips complemented with aspidistra leaves and hyacinth blooms is typical of something Murphy might choose.

Christmas Cruise

When Tom Cruise hosted a Christmas party in Bel Air Lee was called in to do the arrangements. Lee drenched the room in white giving it the effect of snow in Los Angeles. "Tom wanted reds and whites," says Lee. "And since it never snows here, I even put fake snow on tree branches and on some of the arrangements."

White Christmas for Cruise

For Tom Cruise's Christmas party, Lee put together arrangements like these hand-tied bouquets of white jeweled ranunculus with dianthus greens, and succulent leaves. The base features a satin-wrapped base and rhinestones. "Bel Air was turned into a winter wonderland," he says.

Peonies for Oprah

"Oprah is crazy for white peonies," says Lee. "When I did her party she wanted them everywhere." The look Lee created for Oprah featured green and white hydrangea, viburnum, white ranunculus and white peonies.

Homecoming Queen

Whenever Mariah Carey visited her rented Beverly Hills mansion, she wanted it filled with flowers. "Some of these large homes are like hotels and can be very cold," says Lee. "Having flowers throughout the house warms it up and gives it a homey feel. That's what Mariah wanted." Designed by Lee, this arrangement features pale pink orchids, mauve roses, white hydrangeas and burgundy tulips and is very much like the flowers he placed around the singer's home.
