Prepare Fabric and Twine

For a 2-inch lid, cut a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2-inch square of fabric. Since lid sizes will vary, dimensions of fabric squares may need to be slightly larger or smaller. For each jar, cut a 1-foot-long piece of twine.
