Welcoming Family Room is Comfortable and Stylish

Designed to be a family room area where all the neighborhood kids will gather on movie night, this space needed to be durable and beautiful. The window seat with its easy-to-clean laminated fabric creates a cozy and sunny reading area and allows for additional movie viewing. The custom-made media cabinet hides all the kids toys, board games and AV equipment.

Cozy Window Seat in Cottage Living Room

Built-ins surround the cozy window seat and provide much-needed storage for a family of five. The cushion is upholstered in a laminated oatmeal fabric in order to combat the muddy shoes and kids' hands. Navy pillows bring in color that's also used throughout the open floor floor plan, and a copper sconce adds light for reading in the evening.

Open and Bright Family Kitchen

The vaulted ceiling expands the overall size of this all-white kitchen, which is designed to be a family-friendly heart of the home. A huge navy island accommodates the kids' baseball team and hides scuff marks, as well as adds color to the space. The barstools are chosen because they're easy to wipe clean. Tucked in the corner is a cozy banquette breakfast nook.

Inviting All-White Breakfast Nook

The kitchen banquette allows for cozy meals right in the heart of the home. The banquette cushion is made with laminated fabric to make wiping up spaghetti fingers effortless, and keeps the oatmeal fabric looking pristine. A woven pendant light adds texture to the all-white space. Vaulted ceilings expand the overall size of the kitchen space.
