Brown Open Plan Contemporary Kitchen With Dark Wood

Because the rest of the home features mostly light shades, the designers chose dark wood finishes for the kitchen to add contrast. The marble backsplash was sourced from a local stone slab provider and cut into rectangular vertical tiles.
