Kitten Kay Sera: What Is Pink Will Be Pink
Kitten Kay Sera, AKA The Pinkest Person in the World, is the proud owner of her very own pink palace in Hollywood, California, where she lives with her pink dog, sleeps in a pink bed, and cooks on a pink stove.
"I wear many pink hats," she explains. Kitten is a TV personality and recording artist who performs with the Pink Plastixx, a pop-rock barbiecore band, and her pink aesthetic was also featured in the May 2021 issue of Vogue Portugal.

On Wednesdays (and Every Day), We Wear Pink
On Kitten's birthday in 1980, she wore an all-pink outfit, and that was it — she hasn't worn anything else since. It was a "spiritual awakening," she explained. She gave away everything that wasn't pink. She found her true self within the color pink.

Pink, It's My New Obsession
"I just realized that I was gonna be pink for the rest of my life," she explained. Her commitment to the color has given her several monikers — the Pink Queen, the Pink Lady of Hollywood and the Pinkest Lady In the World. She's so dedicated that she even married the color in a Las Vegas wedding ceremony in 2022.

Pretty in Pink
Pinkaboo, Kitten's pomeranian, also embraces the pink life. Pinkaboo rocks pink fur that Kitten dyes with beet juice. Two to three tablespoons of the vegetable juice in the bath turn the dog's fur a subtle shade of pink.

Pink Is the New Kinda Lingo
Everything is a pink portmanteau in Kitten's world. Her days are "pinktastic" and events are "pinkcredible." "Everything I try to say, I say pink," she explains. Her love for pink is what inspired her design choices when she first moved into her home. It was a blank canvas of brown, beige and white. It didn't take long before Kitten made it her own.

You Could Be My Flamingo
Most people have shied away from the bubblegum pink tile that adorned bathrooms throughout the 1970s, but Kitten embraces it. She takes a bubble bath in her pink tub every day.

Pink, 'Cause You Are So Very
We have a tiny secret — the toilet is white on the inside, but the outside color was custom-made to Kitten's specifications. The pink toilet paper rounds out the experience.

Pink, When I Turn Out the Light
The "confection kitchen" is a custom design that got rid of brown cabinets and plain appliances to replace them with pink cabinets, a pink sink and pink appliances. The utensils are pink. The ice chest is pink. In case you weren't sure, Kitten really loves pink.

Pink Is the Love You Discover
Each day, Kitten hops out of her round bed (draped in netting for "drama," she explained) and heads to her vanity to prepare for the day. Once her makeup is done, it's on to accessories — specifically her sunglasses. Kitten has dozens of pairs in a tower. Some give off serious Georgi La Forge vibes. Some look like flamingos. Others are covered in sequins or glitter.

'Cause Today it Just Goes With the Fashion
“I understand Elton John so much because he loves sunglasses like I love sunglasses," Kitten said.

Pink Is the Color of Passion
Kitten loves her 1970s-style inflatable furniture. "It's hard to find inflatable sturdy furniture that does not pop or collapse," she laments. Victory, however, was hers with this loveseat and barrel chair set.

Pink It Yourself
Kitten can't decide on her favorite DIY project, but the carousel horse is near the top. She found it on Craigslist and brought it home to make it her own, complete with the custom pink floral base.

Pink, Like a Deco Umbrella
“Everyone should have a throne and a crown," Kitten said. Her throne was another Craigslist find. In exchange for the throne, she agreed to clean the seller's home for two months to make it her own.

Pink as the Sheets That We Lay On
One time Kitten went on a blind date with a guy who was colorblind. She didn't realize until she brought him home, and he had zero reaction to the decor. "I gave him the pink slip. I said, 'Next!'"

Pink, It's Like Red But Not Quite
Kitten wants people to feel love and warmth when they step into the Pink Palace. Most people are stunned when they see her home for the first time when they realize just how dedicated she is to the color. "I think every home needs some pink," Kitten says.
