Updated Shower With Glass Door & White Subway Tile

Updated Shower With Glass Door & White Subway Tile

This remodel was in conjunction with a few other projects in one residence, all in preparation for the arrival of a new baby. The shower stayed in the same place, although the plumbing was moved. The toilet was moved to the opposite wall, and the sink was moved to the center of the bathroom. A freestanding tub was then installed on the opposite wall from the shower. Classic white subway tile on the shower walls and tub wall create a clean backdrop for the geometric pattern cement floor tiles.

Wood-Look Porcelain

The Batson's master bathroom has new gray paint and a shiplap accent wall. A large mirror is framed in matching wood. A modern light fixture illuminates a his and hers vanity with a marble countertop and rectangular vessel sinks. The original claw foot tub was kept and refinished, and new tile flooring installed, as seen on HGTV's Fixer Upper. After #8. (Afters)

This trendy porcelain marries the look of hardwood with the durability of tile. Win-win.
