A 100-percent gray and orange striped cotton fabric was used to make the custom Roman shades in this stylish laundry room with copper-colored walls, top-notch appliances, storage, and an amazing view out to the water and green rolling hills outside.

Using a super-autumnal copper color for the walls to contrast the platinum gray cabinets and drawers with matte black hardware was a way to warm up an otherwise wet room. “Since wet rooms are usually blue, we thought this was an interesting take,” says designer Brian Patrick Flynn.
