Foyer Pictures From HGTV Dream Home 2016
A soothing gray color scheme introduces the home’s luxe design motif, defined by geometric details and a sleek nickel chandelier.
Chic Staircase
The foyer's chic geometric staircase railing to the upper level gives a hint of the home's luxe design motif and overall design approach.
Front Doors
The double doors on the front entry with transom windows above greet guests as they enter this light and bright home with an updated, transitional take on Floridian style.
Handsome Hardware
Aged hardware provides the perfect finishing touch for the darkly stained front doors that lead into the home's foyer.
Transom Windows
The transom windows above the double front doors allow natural light inside and make the foyer feel more open and airy.
Welcoming Entry
The front entry includes a console table with large mirror above. The mirror's frame looks like aged beach wood for a rustic coastal look.
Handy Storage
The entry table provides a handy spot for keys or accessories that reinforce the home's relaxed, comfortable and elegant take on Floridian coastal style.
Wall Art
Black framed art with white matting dress up the cool gray wall to the left of the foyer's console table.
Stylish Staircase
Made from welded steel and then powder coated in the same color used for the trims throughout the home, the geometric staircase railing is one of the most striking architectural details in the house.
Framed Shiplap
The wall space under the staircase was used to display this creative piece of art, a framed piece of white shiplap that mimics the lines of the staircase.
Modern Flair
A modern, abstract take on a wave adorns the wall outside of the master suite. Different pieces and sizes of lumber were arranged and done in an ombre effect for a striking look.
Glamorous Illumination
A pendant chandelier made from chrome with a fabric shade gives the foyer a touch of glamour.
Attention to Detail
The same exact tone of the floor carries up the risers in the staircase that leads to the upper level of the home.
Creative Wall Art
Found pieces of driftwood were turned into wall art by the project's carpentry team. The pieces were cut to size and turned into sculptures, with hangers added the back to give the walls organic texture.
All About Texture
This close-up view of the large round mirror above the foyer's console table shows the distressed finish on the mirror's cerused oak frame for a rustic coastal look.
Finishing Touches
A tall potted plant and ceramic vases dress up the front entry console table with large mirror above.
Enjoy the View
Views of the living room and beyond can be enjoyed from the landing on the stairs to the upper level. "The furniture compliments the view and it recedes so the two can live harmoniously without fighting," says project interior designer Brain Patrick Flynn.
