Nicole & Colby

Married and eager to start a family, Nicole and Colby are hoping to find a picture-perfect dog-friendly home where they can put down roots. And in the meantime, they're squatting at a friend's place increasingly concerned they may never find a property of their own. In order to get the couple into their preferred neighborhood, Drew and Jonathan start by convincing them to buy and renovate a fixer-upper. Even with expert guidance, the house hunt takes longer than expected, and Nicole is determined to hold out for a home that feels loved. Later, Jonathan must deal with a laundry list of nasty surprises, and a collapsing ceiling is just the beginning.
