The busy parents of two energetic boys, Michelle and Tom are paying a fortune for a temporary rental and need to find their forever home fast. But their taste for luxury means their dream property is way out of reach and their house hunt could take a while. That's when the Property Brothers step in with a real estate intervention. Michelle is already on board with transforming a fixer upper, but Tom proves harder to convince. Drew leads the search for a property with great bones and the resulting negotiations are tempered by a touching gesture from Michelle. Later, Jonathan uncovers a major issue and has to dig deep to rescue Tom's deluxe mancave. And though Jonathan tries to get the runaway budget back on track, the couple isn't willing to budge on their luxurious upgrade.

Relocation Woes into Dream Home Joy

Along with their two teenage daughters, Kevin and Suzanne are in the midst of some major life changes. An unexpected relocation means they've had to say goodbye to their beloved home and community. And now they're looking for a new dream home where they can put down roots. The Property Brothers take the family under their wing and promise to transform a fixer-upper into a showstopper. During the house hunt, Drew leverages the results of a home inspection, but the savings are quickly reinvested in a faulty subfloor. Meanwhile, Jonathan's main challenge is nailing the couple's rustic-meets-modern esthetic. And when it's time for the big reveal it's the couple's teenage daughters who steal the show with their artistic flair.

Chasing the Suburban Dream Home

Urbanites Sukhvir and Beeban have decided that condo living is cramping their style so they're heading to the suburbs where they can spread out and raise a family. The only problem is that with sky-high expectations and a long wish list, they're about to get a reality check. To right size the couple's demands, Drew and Jonathan step in with some real estate therapy. And before long, the search is on for a fixer-upper with a handsome frame. A surprise bid on a listing they love means Sukhvir and Beeban soon find themselves back at square one. Later, it's up to Jonathan to make the most of a shrunken reno budget and that means finding creative ways of saving money.

Taking the Renovation Leap

Pema and John's downtown condo was plenty big when it was just the two of them. But with two dogs and a baby, it's now pure chaos, and they're desperate for a spacious family property with a large backyard and plenty of room to grow. Drew and Jonathan step in with a plan, and their first job is shaking Pema's fear of renovations. At the negotiating table, the couple's low-ball approach threatens to derail the project before it's begun. Later, when the walls come down, the problems pile up as Jonathan uncovers a series of worst-case scenarios.

Brothers Scott and Trevor have been feeling the squeeze in their claustrophobic condo. And now thanks to financial help from their grandparents, they're pooling their resources and looking for an all-in-one investment and living solution. Determined to keep sibling rivalry to a minimum, Drew and Jonathan step in with a plan. First, Drew leads the charge for a dog-friendly property and then leverages key information at the negotiating table. Later, when the demolition uncovers expensive problems, the entire family pitches in to save money. Jonathan comes up with a solution for a dated ceiling, and then scrambles with a major last-minute change.

Not Ready for the Suburbs

Lexa and Pete's condo sold much faster than expected, and they've been crashing at her brother's place ever since. The couple is eager to buy a new home ASAP, but while she longs to settle in the suburbs, he's a city boy at heart and wants to move back downtown. Drew and Jonathan convince the couple that a fixer-upper is the way to go, but that still leaves Lexa and Pete with a major decision on their hands. During demolition, the couple's budget takes a beating as Jonathan uncovers a long list of costly issues. Meanwhile, Lexa's busy travel schedule means letting go of the reins, and furniture shopping proves daunting for an ever-optimistic Pete.

Putting the 'Om' in Home

As busy entrepreneurs and parents of teenagers, Michelle and Michael don't have time to search for a new home. But they've outgrown their awkward townhouse and it's time for a change. With Michael focused on the family's new pizzeria, it's the couple's 16-year-old daughter Felicia who joins forces with Mom to find and renovate the perfect family home. First, Drew leads them on an ambitious house hunt and then gives critical advice when a bidding war erupts over a deal that's too good to be true. Later, Jonathan is on track to deliver everything on their wish list. That is, until his clients slash the budget just weeks before the big reveal.

Ambitious newlyweds Michelle and Jon are determined to move out of his parents' basement and into a forever home of their own. But after six years as a nomad, it's time to reconnect with family and friends so now she's looking for a deluxe urban home of her own. With his client asking a lot from her modest budget, it's up to Drew to find a well-priced diamond in the rough. Later, the renovations on a ramshackle Victorian are plagued by a series of break-ins that shake Karima's confidence. Meanwhile, it's up to Jonathan to rejig the design as a pileup of costly surprises threatens to derail the project altogether.

Dream City, Dream Job, Dream Home

After years of living out of a suitcase, it's time for globetrotting Aussies Levi and Alysha to put down roots. And since they've already landed dream jobs in their dream city, the only thing left on their list is a dream home. With the couple more focused on lifestyle than size, Drew leads the hunt for a dog friendly home in a trendy urban neighborhood where compromise is key. Later, Jonathan comes up with an optical illusion to compensate for saggy walls in the kitchen, and the vintage charm of a century home reveals its dark side with a shocking surprise that threatens to bust the budget wide open.

Bachelor Pad Condo to Family-Friendly Home

Tired of squeezing into his bachelor pad condo and ready to move to the suburbs, Erin and Adam are searching for the perfect family-friendly home. But while they've got a healthy budget and a very clear wish list, these indecisive newlyweds can't seem to make up their minds. The couple's house hunt proves to be an uphill battle from the start as Adam's lowball approach leads to a series of rejections. That is, until a patient straight-talking Drew intervenes. At the negotiating table, Erin makes a snap decision that could come back to haunt them. During the demo, Adam's 91-year-old grandpa pitches in. Later, Jonathan breezes through a disaster-free renovation though he finds himself juggling last-minute changes and serious indecision.

Ready for Home Sweet Home

Since relocating for his dream job, Jaeme, Bliss and their two little ones have been crashing with friends in the city. They need to find their own home fast, but the odds are stacked against them. Their wish list is too long, and for a homesick Bliss, the family's dream home is the one they left behind. Drew's advice with a tricky estate sale proves critical, and it's up to Jonathan to transform a dusty home into a midcentury modern gem. Unfortunately, Bliss' exacting standards have Jonathan seriously concerned about the big reveal.

Spending, Add-Ons and a Property That Fits the Bill

Sarah and Kevin spent years renovating their tiny home, but with a baby boy and changing priorities, they're desperate for a sprawling suburban home with all the bells and whistles. Drew and Jonathan vow to find them a stylish midcentury-inspired property that fits the bill, but the only way the couple will agree to renovate is if Drew grabs a tool belt and pitches in. Multiple offers threaten to complicate their exhausting house hunt, and a tricky demolition challenge finds Drew running the streets in his boxers. Meanwhile, Jonathan struggles to keep up with ongoing design changes as Sarah's spending threatens to derail the budget.
