Fred and Jen Whatley realized that they were hardly spending any time together as a family with their daughter, Eliana in their home in Alameda, California. A move to Nicaragua was going to help them get away from the material world, and reflect on what truly is important to the family. Fred, a nurse and Jen, an elementary school teacher hope to find work in their professions once they become fluent in Spanish.
