Back from the West coast with a fantastic new job, Jenna is living with her parents in the suburbs. And although the surroundings couldn't be more comfortable, the three-hour daily commute is wearing her down and she's ready to find a comfortable downtown pad to call her own. Enter rental expert Jodi Gilmour. She promises to find her a great apartment in a safe neighborhood. But is Jenna ready to compromise on her wishlist? Jodi shows her a range of options, from a recently renovated basement apartment to a lower-lever Victorian on a trendy street. But when the apartment she falls for lacks the all-important laundry facilities, can Jenna convince the landlord to make the investment for a quality tenant?
