What was once a drab and unappealing white exterior is now a fresh and eye-catching blue that seriously ups this Fort Worth home’s curb appeal.
Andy and Ashley Williams
As spouses and business partners, these Texas veterans have been able to combine their respective strengths to build a booming flipping empire in their hometown of Fort Worth.
The Design Brains
While Ashley and Andy Williams are the gold standard for a productive partnership, Ashley thrives in her "lane" as the design orchestrator of the Williams’ flips.
Let There Be Light
Removing this front dining room’s space-consuming corner built-ins makes way for complementary window treatments and a subtle but stunning light fixture.
Making a (Back)splash
Ashley wanted to include a backsplash in this white kitchen that didn’t clash with the gray and white checkered flooring, inspired by the home’s former classic (but a bit beaten up) black and white checkered tiles.
Covered patios are a coveted luxury for that blazing Texas sun, and Ashley and Andy managed to bring this home’s already existing space back to life.
Pretty in Pink
Did you think you were going to get through a gallery without a mention of Millennial Pink? Ashley’s patterns and color choice for the bed linens take this neutral bedroom from calm to cozy.
Modern Rustic Reno
Natural wood shutters and a fresh paint job bring this formerly outdated ranch home into the 21st Century.
Cozy Eat-in Kitchen
Many of the homes Ashley and Andy renovate are somewhat limited in square footage, but their design plans manage to make the best use of small spaces.
Balancing a White Kitchen
Small space kitchens can present a design challenge for flippers, but all-white isn’t the only option for opening up a tight space. An interesting backsplash and dual tone cabinets can brighten up the heart of the home.
When there’s no way around an inconveniently placed load-bearing wall, work with what you’ve got. Ashley added shelves and decorative accents to tie the somewhat open concept layout together.
Black and White
Out-of-control foliage and a lack of landscaping previously overwhelmed the classic structure of the front of the house. Once Ashley and Andy cleared out the green, it cleared the way for a clean and bright classic color scheme.
Can you picture yourself prepping a meal over the kitchen island under the warm glow of that chandelier?
Not Your Basic Bathroom
Tight space doesn’t have to hold you back — Ashley and Andy used strategically placed patterned tiles to liven up this common bathroom.
Yes to Wallpaper
One way to create subtle separation in a large open concept living space: selectively placed, interesting wallpaper.
Warmth through White
Texas homeowners love their stone fireplaces, and Ashley and Andy were able to update this one with a simple coat of warm white paint.
Fun fact: While many of their home exteriors are flipped with neutral colors, one of Ashley and Andy’s calling cards is to always include a bright colored front door.
Don’t mess with [a] Texas [homeowner’s outdoor space]. Modern furnishings and some power washing create the perfect communal area in this home’s backyard.
Read a Book
In an ideal world, every home would have at least one reading nook. Ashley and Andy carved out the perfect space for one in this flip.
All in the Details
This gray kitchen gets upped a notch with the addition of a subtle backsplash and defining details on the cabinet fronts throughout.
