Miami Hotel-inspired Modern Master Bedroom

After recently buying a home in Miami, Jessica Passman was laid off from her job, and decorating was put on the back burner. Now she has a new job and she and her husband Bryan are ready to decorate. Designer David Bromstad gives their master bedroom a custom whimsical modern design, inspired by one of Miami's most glamorous luxury hotels, the Viceroy.

Vibrant Miami Modern Kitchen/Living Room

Homeowners Charles and Jonathan want a living room/ktichen makeover that will make a big impact in a small space. Inspired by Miami's luxury hotel Gansevoort South, designer David Bromstad re-imagines their living area by incorporating vibrant colors and modern design. A custom lime green glass installation gives the living room a high-end look while visually expanding the space. David's pop-art paintings of the family pets add a hint of fun to the very modern furnishings.

Traditional Outdoor Patio inspired by Argentinian restaurant Novecento.

Inspired by Argentinian restaurant Novecento, David Bromstad designs an exciting traditional outdoor patio by juxtaposing modern and rustic pieces. An oversized faux fireplace creates a big impact in the space and custom mosaic panels adds glitz and glamour.

Beachy Traditional Living/Dining Room Inspired by Miami Boutique Hotel The Betsy

Drawing inspiration from Miami's South Beach boutique luxury hotel The Betsy, designer David Bromstad re-imagines a living/dining room with a neutral palette, creating a serene and soothing space. Homeowner's Kiedy and Richard Caldwell want limited use of color, so David layers texture and patterns to compensate. In addition, he mixes metal and wood elements to give a collected over time look. A zebra upholstered framed mirror, derived from the lobby of the The Betsy is the highlight of the room.

Mid Century modern patio/dining area inspired by Grass Resturant and Lounge

Designer David Bromstad brings the laid back vibe of Grass Resturant and Lounge to a decaying patio and uninviting dining area. David interplays the hard lines of Mid century modern design with lush greenery to create an intimate oasis.

Inspired by Miami boutique luxury hotel the Epic, Designer David Bromstad brings a fresh and sleek contemporary design to a loft great room.

Inspired by Miami boutique luxury hotel the Epic, Designer David Bromstad brings a fresh and sleek contemporary design to a loft great room. Despite problems occurring during the makeover, the room comes together with custom blown glass light fixtures, amber colored glass cabinetry, floor to ceiling sheer curtains framed with wood beams, and a peacock blue contemporary triptych artwork by David himself.

Modern Master Bedroom with Old World Touches

Designer David Bromstad draws inspiration from former Versace Mansion, The Villa by Barton G, for old world meets modern design in this masterbed room makeover. A gradated orange feature wall, custom glass sculpture ceiling installation, a mix of modern and vintage furniture, and serene blue paintings by David himself tie modern design with old world touches.

International Eclectic Living/Dining Room Inspired by Iconic Miami Pedestrian Mall Lincoln Road.

Inspired by the international eclectic feel of iconic Miami pedestrian mall Lincoln Road, designer David Bromstad ties a living / dining room together with timeless furniture pieces, eclectic accessories, mixed with international flavors. David uses the ceiling with unique architectural panels to connect the spaces. He also gives the homeowners a special parrot and wine glass paintings that alludes to an inside joke they have about when they first met.

Modern Deco Living/Dining Room, Inspired by Miami Beach's Iconic Ocean Drive.

Designer David Bromstad uses clean lines and bold colors, indicative of the Art Deco movement found on Miami Beach's iconic Ocean Drive in this living/dining room makeover. The Art Deco motif comes to life with a floor to ceiling wall structure that emphasizes the stylized vertical lines prevalent on Ocean Drive building facades.

Moroccan Zen Living/Dining Room inspired by the David Barton Gym.

Designer David Bromstad translates the Moroccan flare of Miami's David Barton Gym to roommates Hailey Brown and Thais Vieira's living and dining area. David creates a serene space with punches of playful design elements, including a Moroccan inspired wall graphic.

Old World Design Meets Modern Living And Dining

Designer David Bromstad, inspired by national historic landmark Vizcaya Museum in Miami, redefines old world design in a living / dining room makeover, with clean lines and classic touches. Old meets new with a photographic wall mural and a custom oversized ottoman.

Miami's Outdoor beach club Nikki Beach lends inspiration to a beach chic bedroom and sporty office.

Designer David Bromstad evokes the cool and relaxing vibe from Miami's Nikki Beach into a master bedroom and office. This beach chic design features a custom bed frame and faux ostrich headboard, while the office/man space has casual sporty aesthetic.

Nightclub Inspired Lounge Living Room/Office

Designer David Bromstad translates the high energy from Miami's LIV nightclub to a living room / office. This bold design features a dramatic focal wall with LED lights and a cool custom-made lounge couch. This space uses the design elements found in nightclubs while making it comfortable to live and work in.
