Nod to the Past: Eclectic Styling

Pink bathrooms were all the rage in the 50s, and it looks like designer Caitlin Murray is still digging the look! With a light pink vanity and accent wall, pin-up girl print and black-and-white tile floors, this bathroom definitely feels like a throwback, and we're not mad about it.

Nod to the Past: Traditional Tub

With a traditional tub, pinstripe shower curtain, penny tile floors and bold artwork, this bathroom puts a modern spin on old-world style.

Nod to the Past: Midcentury Vanity

Designer Kristen Groves chose to play up the midcentury modern vibe in this bathroom. With clean walls, timely fixtures and an antique dresser-turned-vanity, this space makes an understated, yet stylish nod to the past.

Natural Textures: Calm + Serene

The light, natural hues in this space create a spa-like vibe throughout. Ushering in a calm atmosphere, the sand-colored backsplash over this double vanity helps the wall to visually recede and calls into sharper contrast the vanity's pretty wood.

Natural Textures: Pop of Color

Concrete walls add unique textural flair to this space, while a teal tile floor brings a welcome pop of color. The finishing touch comes in the form of a wood vanity, creating a soothing master bath space.

Natural Textures: Intriguing Tones

Polished concrete floors and a wood paneled ceiling set the tone for an intriguing design in this master bathroom. Exposed plumbing adds an industrial vibe, while a freestanding tub and textured jute rug lend just a touch of classic charm.

Natural Textures: Matching Marble

Decked in cool tones and a variety of natural textures, designers Leanne and Steve Ford were certain to make the most of this small space. Positioning the marble sinks and luxe fixtures in the middle of the vanity enhanced the available space while creating a unique feature.

Natural Textures: Stunning Soaker

The dark tub and the simple furnishings maintain a blissful, away-from-it-all feel, while the cool tones of the space create a relaxing atmosphere.

Pattern Play: Gold + Gray

A gray, patterned wallpaper and an ornate golden mirror create a French feeling in this bathroom. A beautiful sink with green and gold inlay tie the room together perfectly.

Pattern Play: Lively Scene

Butterflies and birds take flight in this bathroom, helping the small space feel full of interest and energy. The exposed plumbing adds an industrial flair to the otherwise ornate space.

Pattern Play: Greek Key

A Greek key patterned wallpaper fills every wall of this neutrally-driven space. The furniture-style vanity and the stone countertops tie the space together perfectly.

Pattern Play: Large Format Florals

Bountiful blooms on an oversized-scale fill this bathroom with swoon-worthy romance while gold details and dainty accessories accent the bold space seamlessly.

Pattern Play: Neutral Swirls

The lacy detail of the wallpaper pairs prettily with the master bathroom's mauve marble countertops and floor accents. It's also a lovely frame for the porthole window.

Bright + Bold: Striking Contrast

This bathroom features white shiplap wainscoting beneath a black wall and a black, ceiling-height subway tile backsplash. A simple wood vanity with quartz countertops and a raised trough sink add some simple charm to the otherwise modern space.

Bright + Bold: Forest Foliage

Deep, moody green interiors are taking the design world by storm, and bathrooms are no exception. Consider a hue like hunter, olive, forest, jade or emerald for the walls, and balance its intensity with a light, natural wood vanity and jute accents. Finish the look with matte black fixtures and ceramics for a trend-setting space.

Bright + Bold: Crisp Color Palette

Black walls, white accents and a natural wood vanity create a clean looking bathroom with a slightly futuristic feel about it. Crisp angles, spare lighting, a floating vanity and a patterned floor all feel like they would be right at home in a space ship.

Bright + Bold: Dark Blue Room

In this bathroom, dark blue walls add dimension to the vanity, as well as bring out the gold hardware along the sink. The black-and-white wallpaper add interest to the blue-hued space, creating a look that's just begging to be copied.

Bright + Bold: Classically Modern

The space features dark paneling and a floating vanity to shift focus to the room's architectural interest rather than the space's lack of square footage.

Trendy Metals: Industrial Chic

Industrial copper plumbing steals the show in this white-and-blue shower. Notice how the white backsplash has a soft pattern to give the space a little energy, while pebble tile floors carry a coastal theme throughout.

Trendy Metals: Stark Fixtures

A matte black, rainwater faucet hangs from the ceiling, creating a spa-like atmosphere in this bath. The gooseneck faucet sits against the white tile, complimenting the other black features in the bathroom and lets the geometric-patterned floor shine.

Trendy Metals: Copper Accents

A copper faucet adds a much-welcomed metallic touch to this two-toned bathroom. Notice how its brassy hue makes the turquoise tile seem especially bright and blue, while the old-world style faucet plays off the modern choice of tile perfectly.

Trendy Metals: Bold Brass

Contemporary brass fixtures are perched on the walls of this bright white shower. Subways tiles deck the walls in various patterns, while the floor is composed of rhomboid cube mosaic tile, giving the simple space some flair.

Global Minded: Pretty + Patterned

An arched shower door enhances this bathroom's Moroccan style; inside the tile backsplash fades from black to white, creating an intriguing ombre design.

Global Minded: Geometric Flooring

Geometric tile covers the floor in this beautiful bathroom, creating a globally-inspired space. Strong black-and-white patterns with splashes of color create a look that's sophisticated but not sterile.

Global Minded: Charming Antiques

An antiqued armoire sits to the side of the black double vanity, providing extra storage and a hint of European elegance.

Global Minded: Bohemian Charm

Bohemian touches and modern elements, like the freestanding tub, vessel sinks and a traditional carpet combine to create a unqiue design experience.

Statement Tile: Surprise in the Shower

Graphic black-and-white tile makes a dramatic statement at the back of the shower while simple subway tile is used throughout the rest of the space for balance.

Statement Tile: Hello, Herringbone

To create a fun, artistic space out of this master bathroom, the designers added bold colors and patterns. The random layout of the herringbone pattern feels young, energetic and on-trend.

Statement Tile: Understated Impact

Stylish marble tiles in gray and white make a dynamic statement for this bathroom shower. The brass fixtures help warm up the cool tones used throughout the shower stall.

Statement Tile: Cohesive Look

While the patterned geometric ceramic tiles makes a statement, the bathroom's simple black, gray and white color scheme gives the space a cohesive look.

High-Tech: Ultimate Comfort

Combining technology and sleek design, this bathroom features a toilet with a touch screen remote and motion-activated lid for ultimate personal comfort.

High-Tech: Relax in Luxury

The high-tech feature in this shower comes in the form of a small screen located at the back of the shower stall. To complement the patterned marble backsplash, the designers added chrome fixtures and faucets to this shower.

High-Tech: Keep Warm

A rustic cedar plank wall features a built-in fireplace and dark wood cabinets that create a warm vibe, while the white porcelain floor and freestanding tub lends itself to an overall clean-feeling retreat.

High-Tech: Controlled Relaxation

Dark rubbed-bronze fixtures complement the gray subway tiles in this multiple-head shower, which features an electronic control panel and a rain shower head to ensure ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Simplicity: Cool Hues

Soothing hues, a freestanding bathtub and a custom marble chevron backsplash fill this bath, creating a space replete with relaxation.

Simplicity: Clean Lines

The cool greys and crisp whites in this bathroom create a clean, polished look. A freestanding tub and glass shower sit atop a raised pebble flooring that is custom designed to create a natural flow through the room and adds dimension to this space.

Simplicity: All Marble Everywhere

Natural-toned marble abounds in this luxurious and dramatic master bath. White marble sheathes the walls, while darker marble tiles adorn the floor in this cozy-yet-grand bathroom.

Simplicity: Gray Retreat

A palette of gray gets an organic touch from a wood vanity, mirror and a large houseplant. The gray ladder is a simple and pretty way to store and display towels while making a stylish statement.

Simplicity: Enclosed in Glass

The calming tones of this bathroom create the perfect place to get a little R&R at the end of a long day. A floating vanity keeps extra towels and other essentials on hand, while the glass-enclosed shower and built-in bench creates an at-home spa atmosphere.

Terrazzo: Covered in Speckles

This bathroom takes the terrazzo trend to new heights by incorporating Dzek's Marmoreal, a large aggregate terrazzo designed by Max Lamb, as the vanity, sink and shower. Matte black fixtures against the light terrazzo add contrast and sophistication.

Terrazzo: Blushing Bathroom

There's a wide variety of options for the color and size of the flecks of terrazzo, which means terrazzo can be subtle or it can be quite bold. This space incorporates speckled pink terrazzo, creating a stunning and completely unqiue look.

Repurposed Details: Converted Vanity

This mahogany serving table was a dining room piece in its first life. By adding a marble top and chrome fixtures, this piece seamlessly becomes part of this bathroom.

Repurposed Details: Intriguing Industrial

A sturdy antique iron machine base contrasts with the bright, airy vibe in this bathroom for an unexpected, unique look.

Repurposed Details: Washup on Wheels

The bicycle-turned-vanity is a showstopping feature in this home. The wooden countertop and simple white sink modernize the upcycled look, making it a pretty and practical addition.

Repurposed Details: Upcycled Dresser

A midcentury modern dresser found at an auction was upcycled to create the master bathroom's vanity with fully operable drawers, wood top with a clear stain and alabaster white-painted base.
