About
Tim Brown Architecture was formed in 2009 by Architect, Tim Brown. After many years of working in residential architecture, Tim wanted to explore a more comprehensive approach to design that included all the qualities a home should posses. Aesthetic beauty, energy efficiency and a custom fit for the homeowner are at the forefront of every one of the homes he designs. Tim attended the University of New Hampshire and Texas A&M University. He is a licensed Architect in several states, is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is LEED and BPI certified.
At Tim Brown Architecture we all collaborate with one goal in mind. Making a house that is beautiful, site specific, is a high energy efficient performer and works for the family that occupies it. We look at energy efficient design as an integral part of the process and not a product driven feature. We try to grab the "low hanging fruit" first such as, solar orientation, layout for HVAC zoning, good daylighting, etc. This allows a more seamless design without sacrificing the aesthetics and look of the house. Walking into one of our designs, you would never know it is as GREEN as homes come.
