I am an artist at heart. Sketching and painting have always been a huge part of my life. I also have a love of fashion, architecture, graphics, and of course, interior design. Design is something that's always come natural to me. Even at a young age I was decorating and rearranging the home I grew up in and my mom was more than happy to let me take the reins.

I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and this is where the roots of my design career were established. Louisiana is rich with culture and antiques are a staple in every home, so it is only natural that antique hunting and thrift shopping are among my favorite pastimes. My roots are most apparent in the one-of-a-kind pieces that I love to incorporate into my designs. Sometimes even a modern design can be perfected with a unique item that has been re-purposed or re-fashioned into something new. 

I started my design company, SH interiors, in 2009. I absolutely love what I do, and I truly enjoy the collaboration process.
