Despite the mirrored wall (very '80s!), the bedroom was dark and uninviting. By taking down the wall, Patrice gained 6’ of depth and space to re-create.

TV Wall

With all the windows, the curved exterior wall was the only spot to mount the TV. In order to blend it with the rest of the room redesign, Patrice extended the draperies to soften the area and obscure the mounting equipment and “ground” the TV.

Floating the Bed

In order to float a bed, it must look swell from all angles. Patrice custom-designed a 5”-thick upholstered headboard and covered it in a hand-blocked linen/chenille fabric by Sabina Fay Braxton. Nail heads punctuate the shape and give it a distinct sparkly edge.
