Backyard Wonderland Perfect for Entertaining
A true utopia for homeowners, this backyard wonderland features gorgeous landscaping and terraced patios that lead to an outdoor kitchen, bar, firepit and a small pool.
Backyard Includes Terraced Patios
Terraced patios not only add dimension to this beautiful backyard, but also give the owners different zones for entertaining guests.
Pavers Connect Upper Deck, Lower Patio
To help this outdoor space look more cohesive, the landscape architects continued the stone pavers from the upper deck to the lower patio. Meanwhile, touches of greenery enhance the yard's natural beauty.
Stairs Lead to Lower Patio & Pool
Stone steps descend towards the lower patio, where a small pool soaks up views of the surrounding woodlands. Twin chaises create a lounge area off to the side.
Secluded Swimming Area
To ensure that their clients had plenty of privacy, the Paradise Restored team surrounded the pool area with rocks and fresh greenery.
Walls of Windows Look Over Backyard
Even from inside the home, the owners can enjoy sweeping views of their backyard via walls of windows. In turn, this outdoor space can be experienced inside and out.
Swimming Pool Glows Blue
LEDs in the pool not only illuminate the water at night, but also echo the same blue hues found in the outdoor kitchen area. In turn, the two spaces appear visual connected.
Backyard Shines Brightly at Night
Once the sun goes down, this outdoor space transforms into a visual wonder, with landscape lights casting a warm glow across the entire backyard.
Deck Includes Circular Fire Pit
Just a few steps away, a circular fire pit adds a touch of warmth to this rustic outdoor space. Six little stools surround the feature and invite guests to indulge in s'mores once dinner's over.
Lounge Area Includes Chairs, Umbrella
Two lounge chairs anchor one side of the lower patio, giving the owners a spot to stretch out after swimming. An umbrella completes the space and offers a little bit of shade.
Fire Pit With Stools, Custom Bench
In addition to a few stools, this fire pit comes with its own custom bench. By keeping each seat within the same neutral palette, the landscape architects ensured that everything paired well together.
Gazebo Boasts Outdoor Kitchen, Sitting Area
Though built from wood and stone, this gazebo truly exudes comfort and warmth. Where an open kitchen and bar allow for hosting a group dinner, two plush sofas encourage the owners and their guests to curl up right by the fireplace.
Recessed Lights, Pendants Brighten Outdoor Kitchen
A vaulted ceiling comprised of smooth wood panels makes an eye-catching addition to this outdoor kitchen. Meanwhile, recessed lighting and industrial pendants keep the space bright from morning to night.
Flat Screen Meets Contemporary Furnishings
After dinner, everyone can enjoy drinks and casual conversation in the living area. Here, a flat screen TV anchors the stone fireplace, while plush sofas in neutral hues promise to keep the setting nice and comfortable.
Blue LEDs Cast Glow on Island
After the sun goes down, the owners can simply flip a switch and watch as brilliant blue LEDs glow against the island. In turn, this feature not only provides a seat for guests, but also creates a show-stopping visual effect.
Barstools Complete Eat-In Counter
Five barstools give guests a front row seat to watch the chef prep dinner. At the same time, an expansive stone-clad counter makes plenty of room for glasses, plates and other essentials of the evening.
Rustic Island Complements Stone Columns
From behind the island, one can see the rest of this outdoor kitchen's amenities, which include a working sink, a trash compactor and even a mini refrigerator. Thanks to its stone design, this feature also complements the gazebo's columns.
Open Sides Showcase Views of Fire Pit
Thanks to its open siding and large cut outs, this outdoor kitchen also enjoys cool breezes and views of the nearby fire pit. A TV opposite the island ensures that everyone can catch the big game, too.
Detailed View of Outdoor Kitchen
Warm, sand-colored stones stretch from the living area to the open kitchen, making the two spaces feel cohesive. With a wood-burning pizza oven and stainless grill at their fingertips, the owners will have no problem entertaining visitors.
Pond Offers Additional Ambiance
For additional ambiance, the landscape architects installed a small pond off the side of the gazebo. Though the water feature is man-made, rocks and plants help it blend in with its surroundings.
Rocking Chairs Make Cozy Reading Spot
On the other side of the gazebo, identical rocking chairs create an intimate spot for reading or watching the sunset. Chic black lanterns sit at the top of the stairs for extra lighting and style.
Staircase Carved From Rock
Drawing on rounded slabs of rock, the landscape architects carved out a staircase that leads to the upper deck. Along the way, the owners can enjoy a little patio area, with two wicker-backed chairs for comfortably stargazing.
Pavers Lead to Gorgeous Gazebo
With their children grown and living on their own, the owners of this property in Oregon were ready to transform their backyard into a fully functional outdoor space. At the top of their list? A custom gazebo with an open air kitchen.
