Laura is the owner of Cabinets and Designs. With over 30 years in the construction and kitchen industry, Laura has earned a well-deserved reputation for high quality work with very functional and creative designs.

Working predominantly with a referral-based clientele, Laura has completed hundreds of jobs all over Kentucky and the United States. Her designs have been featured in Southern Living, The New York Times Magazine, This Old House Magazine, Woman’s Day, Beautiful Homes, Kitchens by Professional Designers and Kentucky Homes & Gardens.

Laura was the first female to graduate from the Construction Management program at Southern Illinois University and minored in architecture. Cabinets and Designs, Inc. is an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, The Lexington Home Builders Association and Remodelers Council and the Lexington Art League.

Cabinets and Designs also believes in giving back to our community. Laura and her staff contribute countless hours and product to Habitat for Humanity, The Child Development Center of The Bluegrass, The Alzheimer’s Association – Best Friends Day Center, as well as several other volunteer organizations.
