Here at Kara Paslay Designs, we love to use design to tell your story. Our goal is that each space we complete for our clients will celebrate their past and inspire their future. We believe that meaningful design is beautiful design! We love to use high tech tools and an artful flair to create one-of-a-kind spaces whether it’s for a home, business, or a TV set we’re decorating.

I’m an interior designer, window display artist, and set decorator for commercials, TV shows, and movies. I live by the motto “Do what you love,” and I love, love my job(s). As a set decorator, it is my responsibility to create scenes/sets that tell the story of the characters in the film. That way of thinking has greatly effected the way I approach my interior design projects. My goal is not only to create a space that is beautiful, but one that is also meaningful! I want the spaces I create to celebrate the history and passions of the people who live there, while also inspiring them to go after their dreams!

Possibly my favorite part about my job is that I get to work with my incredibly talented husband. Although it can be stressful working with your spouse, I wouldn’t have it any other way! We fight daily, but our collaborations always bring about a better finished product!
