Before founding Duet Design Group, Miranda and Devon were both making names for themselves in the Denver design community. Miranda owned her own design company and had been recognized by a number of builder's associations with awards for exceptional interior design. Meanwhile, Devon, a LEED Green associate and professional member of ASID, was working with a local architectural design firm.

The two crossed paths in 2011 in the carriage house behind Devon's childhood home. The rest is history. With a handful of personal connections and a passion for design, the duo teamed up and set out to create an interior design company that fulfilled the needs and wants of their clients, while simultaneously surpassing their expectations at every turn. Today, Devon and Miranda have a combined 30+ years of design experience and lead the dedicated, passionate and talented team of Duet. Their work has been recognized and featured in Luxe Magazine, Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, Reign Magazine, 5280 Home and Denver Life Magazine, among others.

Devon Tobin:

Mornings at Duet always begin with a Devon story, whether it be about her toddler, her family or an article she read in a business journal. Armed with a contagious sense of energy, passion and a Little Black Book that is anything but little (Devon knows EVERYONE in Denver), this mother of two keeps us on our toes. She found her love for design in the art studios of the University of Colorado and will admit to dreaming of one day returning to school....business school, that is. Multiple degrees run in the family.

Miranda Cullen:

Like most Colorado transplants, this mother of two left California nine years ago and never looked back. While admitting to missing the sand, her water skis and In and Out Burger, Miranda couldn't think of a soccer field she'd rather be on than the ones in and around Denver. Winning the height battle by a long shot in our office, and by far the most experienced designer, Miranda is the go-to gal in our office for fashion inspiration and, most importantly, a complete recap of what happened that week on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
