Beach Bungalow With Laid-Back Sense of Style

After living in this handsome vacation home for a few years, a father of three asked Casabella Interiors to redecorate a few rooms -- and then eventually the whole house! Casabella chose fabric and furniture that had a laid-back, Ralph Lauren-esque sense of style, and then brought in some beachy accents for good measure.

White Coastal Home Exterior and Driveway

The entry to this coastal home is as pretty as a picture with a winding gravel driveway, pops of green lawn and handsome wood garage doors for contrast.

Blue and White Coastal Living Room With Striped Rug

This living room lets its armchairs take a two-toned approach to color and pattern. The backs and sides of the chairs are draped with a lively print that brings a layer of movement to the room.

Coastal Blue and White Sitting Area With Hydrangeas

Much of this sitting area is done up in quiet tones: cream, beige, white. In contrast, the rug's blue stripes in varying widths bring in a welcome layer of energy.

Coastal Open Concept Kitchen and Living Area

In this open concept living area that includes a kitchen as well as several sitting areas, a common blue-and-white palette helps unify the layout. The kitchen's blue shade, backsplash and barstools visually tie in with similar shades by the fireplace.

Open Plan Coastal Kitchen With Red Sign

In this kitchen, a surprising texture—the barstools' pale blue upholstery—brings a cozy note of comfort into the functional space. The color also draws out the backsplash.

Transitional Dining Room With Blue Chairs

The blue small-scale pattern on these dining chairs acts as a neutral, adding visual interest without detracting from the room's peaceful mood.

Neutral Coastal Bedroom With Blue Bed

In this bedroom, an upholstered bed in dark blue is the main visual anchor, providing a focal point amidst the lighter colored walls, curtains and rug.

Neutral and Blue Transitional Bedroom With Glass Lamp

This bedroom layers sassy surprises into its more sedate neutral look: a leopard print duvet, nailhead trim for the upholstered bed.

Neutral Transitional Bedroom With Blue Lamp

This bedroom makes room for all kinds of cozy with plush armchairs as well as an elegant bed.

Blue Coastal Bedroom With Striped Rug

A few careful accents—blue glass lamps, a striped rug—add a touch of modern to this lovely bedroom, balancing the many romantic details and keeping the room from feeling too precious.

Blue Coastal Bedroom With Hydrangeas

Subtle coastal details (a print with seashells) blend with dainty patterns for a bedroom look that's as peaceful as it is pretty.

Neutral Coastal Bedroom With Striped Throw

This bedroom's simple wood bed and white nightstands serve as the blank canvas on which designers have layered fun nautical patterns and bold colors.

Coastal Bedroom With Daisy Bouquet

A pillow jauntily trimmed in grommets and a beachy saying on the throw give this bedroom instant coastal personality.
