Across the back of the house, the designer went moody with the kitchen and family room, using lots of black and layers of intriguing textures. In the family room, two huge sofas are paired up around the perimeter. A paper pulp coffee table crafted by Brooklyn artist Mike Ruiz Serra sits in the room's center.
