In the family room, two huge sofas are paired up around the perimeter. A paper pulp coffee table crafted by Brooklyn artist Mike Ruiz Serra sits in the room's center.

In this family room, black tongue and groove panels and a wall art gallery were added to one wall to help create a smooth transition to the open plan black kitchen next door.
