Mariel Clark is Vice President of Digital Video and Editorial of the lifestyle brand websites for HGTV, Travel Channel, DIY Network and Great American Country. 

Her favorite thing about her job is exploring and sharing the world’s most beautiful spaces and places. A DIYer at heart, Mariel likes to tackle projects around her home and may hold the record for number of paint swatches put up on the wall before finding ‘just the right shade.’

Before joining HGTV, Mariel served as editor of a New York news website and television producer on award-winning series for Food Network, Oxygen and Discovery Channel. She holds a master’s degree in digital media from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia.

Mariel loves being out in the sunshine, preferably while running or reading and on weekends you’ll find her trying out new recipes on her husband and three professional kid-taste-testers.
