Experience
Addie’s editorial career began while studying at the University of Tennessee. During her junior and senior year, she interned at Discovery, Inc. and wrote for the websites of HGTV, Travel Channel, DIY Network, and Great American Country. Some of Addie’s earliest memories involve flipping through magazines with her grandmother, so seeing her name in the byline was a full-circle moment.
Following graduation, Addie took over social media for DIY Network, now Magnolia Network, and moved to Nashville to pursue her dreams of working in the music industry. As a freelance writer, she continues to cover lifestyle content and help readers achieve their best home.
Education
Addie majored in Journalism and Electronic Media and received a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Tennessee. She spent half of her sophomore year studying abroad at the University of Sydney and interning at a local newspaper. In high school, she attended Princeton University's Summer Journalism Program, which inspired her to pursue writing in college and beyond.
