15-watt fluorescent lamps are used for uplighting on these trees. “They’re cooler and bluer, and that blue makes the greens of the landscaping look even greener,” says Pinnacle Lighting owner Jim Burks.

A Jump Rock Functions in Place of a Diving Board

Rather than a traditional diving board, the owner of this Mississippi pool opted for a “jump rock” made from stone steps, for plunging into the pool, which ranges from 36” to 10’ deep. Natural boulders form the back of the pool, and a spa area off the master bedroom features an outdoor shower designed like a natural waterfall.
