Wedding Pergola by the Ocean
This flower-draped pergola, photographed at the Terranea Resort in California, features a clean, modern design, says Lilla Bello Creative Director Toby Kassoy. Hydrangeas, lisianthus, stock, scabiosa, Sweet William (Dianthus barbatus) and roses were used.
Pink Pergola with Roses
This white pergola, flanked by large rose bushes, was highlighted with sprays of hot pink roses. A sprinkle of white and pink rose petals created a path for the wedding couple.
Romantic Wedding Pergola
This romantic pergola, designed by Lilla Bello for a country club wedding, appears to be covered with flowers that have grown naturally. They include hydrangeas, roses, garden roses, jasmine vines, rose hips, spray roses and curly willow. Chiffon panels puddle gracefully to the ground.
Terranea Wedding Pergola
This alternate view of the wedding pergola at Terranea, just outside Los Angeles, says Lillo Bella's Toby Kassoy, shows how jewel-toned florals can add drama and visual impact against an ocean backdrop. The structure is draped with fabric on each side, held by floral tie-backs made from navy silk ribbon.
Pergola with Purple Florals
Purple and cream-colored chrysanthemums, lisianthus, roses, and carnations, along with cuttings of misty blue (Actaea pachypoda) andgreenery, adorn this wedding gazebo. Lengths of purple fabric set off the florals.
Belair Bay Club Pergola
For a wedding at the Belair Bay Club in Los Angeles, the stylists at Flower Duet covered a pergola in hydrangeas, multiple varieties of roses and greenery, among other florals. Swaths of white fabric framed the couple as they said their vows.
Flower Pergola, Riviera Country Club
The floral and event stylists at California's Lilla Bello used romantic, blush-toned hydrangeas, roses and other flowers to create this wedding pergola. "We then worked in bold red bougainvillea branches and rose bush vines to give it a natural looseness," says Creative Director Toby Kassoy. "The chiffon draping was then lined with individual rose petals sewn into the edging of the front panels. The aisles were peppered with black shepherd hooks holding bowls of fresh garden blooms."
White Floral Pergola
Stylists at Details Details designed this arch and surrounding structures with white flowers. Faux cherry blossom branches, hydrangeas and roses stand out brilliantly against the ocean behind them.
Peach Floral Pergola
Fresh-cut roses in shades of peach and cream, and stems of green hanging amaranthus, ornament this pergola at California's Terranea Resort. The florals were designed by Flower Duet of Los Angeles.
Pergola with Peonies and Roses
All four posts of this outdoor structure are covered with tight clusts of hydrangeas, peonies, roses and spray roses. Details Details placed sheer fabric over the top to filter the sunlight and give it a soft, romantic feel.
Pink Floral Wedding Pergola
A trail of pink rose petals leads the way to a seaside wedding featuring a bamboo pergola. The pergola, designed by Flower Duet, is draped with pink rose crescent floral sprays.
For a rustic ranch wedding, the designers at Flower Duet attached multiple groupings of large sunflowers to an arch. Metal pails held more sunflowers and other florals, to echo the theme.
Flower Covered Columns
In lieu of a traditional pergola, you can cover the columns of a structure with wedding flowers. The arrangements on this rotunda, designed by Details Details, include eucalyptus, hanging amaranthus, grape vines, olive branches, smilax, hydrangeas, lavender sprigs and a variety of spray roses.
