A rug also helps create a sense of cohesion, should you opt for the earthy blend of textures—metals, ceramics, natural woods and organic fabrics—Meghan is known to like. Meghan and Harry share a love for Africa, so who's to say a safari or wildlife element wouldn't be part of their royal nursery? "Some fun animal decor for the rooms is a must, maybe some Babar posters or stuffed animals," notes Cami Weinstein of Cami Weinstein Designs in Greenwich, CT.

A small glow of light in baby’s nursery is sometimes all a sleep-deprived mom (even a royal mom) needs to keep from stubbing her toe on the rocker and really waking up the baby. This adorable night light made of natural wood is again speaks to the royal couple’s interest in protecting elephants in Africa. "A night light is essential in any nursery bedroom," adds Weinstein. "This pick further echoes the animal theme in neutral colors."

Given Duchess Meghan’s modern style, no ordinary changing table will do for her royal bundle of joy. Instead, look to this modern 6-drawer changing table that boasts roomy drawers and plenty of space to tuck away nappies. A comfy pad rests on top of the table and can easily be removed as soon as this royal tot’s diaper-changing days are in the past.

Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Meghan planned to color the nursery in paint that is not only vegan, but also infused with rosemary and eucalyptus oils. These essential oils are said to enhance calm and combat brain fog (yes, "mommy brain"), so maybe the aroma-infused paints are more for the duchess than the baby. You can forgo pricey paints and instead pick up a cool mist aroma diffuser that adds fragrance to the nursery and keeps skin hydrated and healthy at the same time.
