Materials Needed

  • white gridwall panel
  • wood board (same length as panel)
  • scrap leather (at least 20” x 5”)
  • tape measure
  • fabrics scissors
  • leather hole punch
  • at least two sets of metal snaps
  • setter
  • hammer
  • craft knife

For Styling

  • binder clips
  • S clips
  • paper clips
  • cork board
  • desk supplies like washi tape, scissors, etc.

Step 1: Cut Leather Straps

Measure leather straps 1.5 inches wide and whatever length will wrap around your shelves. Cut straps.

Step 2: Punch Holes

Use leather punch to make holes on each end of the straps.

Step 3: Attach Snaps

Grab your snaps and follow package instructions to attach to leather. A hammer and metal stylus will help make your snaps tight. Be careful to attach snaps in the right direction on both sides, so that they can snap together.

Step 4: Attach to Grid

Attach a 5"-wide wooden board to your grid wall with the leather straps.

Step 5: Decorate + Enjoy
