For Scott Heeres, being a handyman is a family tradition. Scott honed his skills at an early age with the guidance of his handyman father and grandfather. He grew up in northern Michigan and says he enjoyed rebuilding cars, updating homes and restoring old boats. Scott, who works as a carpenter and completely updated his older home, earned an associate degree from Northwestern Michigan College. He lives with his wife, twin daughters and son in Denver.
