Marc Bartolomeo, carpenter and co-host of Save My Bath, is an electrician by trade, established in the field for 18 years. He is a native New Yorker and is one of four children in a close-knit family. Born in Brooklyn, he grew up observing his father's work as an auto mechanic. His fascination with tools and how mechanical things worked prompted his desire to enter into building trades. He is a "hands-on" type of guy and is very proud to be a blue-collar tradesman.
He graduated from a vocational/technical high school, began working, then moved to Las Vegas with his family, but returned to New York two years later. He attended St. John's University as a business/psychology major. In the early '90s, Marc began modeling career that lasted nearly a decade, all the while working in his trade.
In 2002, he began working as a full-time New York City electrician. As little as one year later, he was cast in a home improvement show for a cable network, where he was able to work alongside a cast of other carpenters. This experience allowed him to combine both his vast construction knowledge and his on-set persona.
His hobbies include DJing, cooking/baking, kayaking, traveling, baseball and spending time at garage and yard sales. He credits his good nature, friendly smile and work ethic to his loving parents who are his inspiration and driving force.
