A native of Glasnevin in Dublin, Ireland, Jane Wogan began her career in entertainment at the age of 7, when she took a drama course at the renowned Gaiety School of Acting. While at the school, she appeared in several stage productions such as Annie, Grease and West Side Story.
While developing her academic skills, which culminated in an honors degree in science, society and the media from the University of Bristol, England, followed by a master's in the study of intelligence, Jane's television experience was kick-started with an appearance on the popular Scratch Saturday live show on RTE in Ireland.
Since that debut she has appeared as a host on Flying Without Fear on Channel 5 London, a behind-the-scenes host for the Mobo Awards (on ITV London), as a guest host on MTV Europe's The Late Lick, and as a red carpet correspondent for Gmtv on ITV. She also appeared on film in The Little Princess for Bristol University Graduate Films.
Jane started modeling at the age of 14 and has appeared in commercials for Tesco's, Clerys, Wash 'n' Go shampoo, Michelob, Coors Light, Reebok and Oil of Olay. Her runway modeling and photographic work is extensive. She appeared as the face of the Amichi Fashion House in the late 1990s. Since moving to New York City a few years ago, Jane has made host appearances for MTV and Spike.
