Create Leaf Medallions and Prep Materials

Download and print fall leaves template attached above onto white card stock. Use a 2 1/4" circular paper punch to punch out leaf design then use a small hole punch (or nail) to create a hole at the top center of circle. Use scissors to cut straws into 1-inch pieces and to cut a piece of twine that's the desired necklace length.

String Together Straw Pieces

String straws in a pattern based on color or at random to the halfway point of the necklace (Image 1). Add fall leaf medallion by stringing twine through the hole in the top (Image 2).

Finish Necklace

Continue adding straw pieces to the necklace's other side, alternating colors as before or keeping the pattern totally random. Knot the two ends of twine together to create the necklace.
