Makes 4 servings

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 sage leaves (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 orange, cut into 8 pieces
  • bourbon
  • apple cider

Make Simple Syrup

Combine water, honey, sugar, sage and orange slices into a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 2-3 minutes or until sugar and honey have dissolved. Remove from heat, and allow to cool to room temperature before transferring to a pitcher.
