After road tripping around the world with rock bands, a globetrotting artist decides to purchase a home in Tulum, Mexico. Living on the road made her feel rootless and she's attracted to the mix of locals and expats residing in the area. Her friend is coming along to make sure she considers every angle, but she's big on aesthetics and often overlooks the practical side of things. Will she find the perfect place to settle down?
