Season 68, Episode 5

Renovating History for a Taste of the Simple Life in Piedmont, Italy

Australians Sam and Lisa Chiodo have been professionally renovating homes for over 15 years. They look for properties with a story, move in, fix it up, sell it, and move on. In 2005, they took on a renovation in Italy, and it instantly felt like home. But with a young family, a permanent move wasn't in the cards. Several years later, the Chiodo family is finally ready to relocate from Australia's beaches to Italy's mountainous Piedmont region. This time, they're looking to renovate an older property to permanently live in. But with a budget of only 20,000 dollars, and winter quickly approaching, Sam, Lisa, and real estate agent Bruna don't have any time to spare. See if the Chiodo family can find the simple life when House Hunters International explores the Piedmont region of Italy.
